October 24, 2019, Container# CMAU 6267154, seal# 0720079, Sierra Leone, Africa. The Healey International Relief Foundation of Cherry Hill, NJ coordinated this load with Mission Relief Services to supply more of the needs of their hospital project in Sierra Leone (this is the sixth container that we have shipped for them).  Major items that were packed in this 40’ High Cube container included:  a dozen sleeper chairs, 6 rollaway guest beds, 34 office chairs, 4 office desks, 8 flat screen computer monitors, 4 mobile privacy partition screens, 14 mobile bedside tables, 15 IV infusion pumps, waiting room seating for 32 patients, and a plethora of hospital linen and top-quality medical-surgical supplies/accessories.

October 10, 2019, Container #TCNU 1022150, seal #0720078, Guinea.  This 40’ HC container was coordinated by Ms. Justina Saye of Healing for the World for her associates at L’Universite Gamal Abdel Nasser in Conakry, Guinea.  Major medical-surgical equipment included 11 hospital beds, 7 examination tables, an electric wheelchair, 4 manual wheelchairs, 6 mobile bedside tables, 2 infant bassinets, 2 mobile infant changing tables, 5 overbed tables, waiting room seating for 18, a laboratory centrifuge and a variety of office/potty/shower chairs.  Also included were 4 pallets of assorted hospital linen and 4 pallets of assorted medical-surgical supplies.

September 27, 2019, 26-foot Box Truck, Dominican Republic.  This vehicle was loaded at the MRS Parkesburg PA warehouse with 5 stretchers, 4 examination tables, 2 mobile recliner chairs, 2 tabletop blanket warmers, a breast biopsy ultrasound table, and some 200 boxes of medical-surgical supplies.  Diogenes Molina of New York accepted these items for further shipment to his associates in the Dominican Republic.

August 19, 2019, Container #CAIU 7115981, seal #0720077, Ghana.  This 40’ HC container was directed to the Stewards Hospital in Ahinsan-Kumasi, Ghana.  The shipment was coordinated by Dr. Kwaku Amexo, a physician at the Brandywine Hospital who was born in Ghana and studied medicine in Russia. He now lives in Exton, PA and frequently visits the Mission Relief Services warehouse in Parkesburg.  Ghana is the size of Oregon with 30 million people.  The contents of this container included 10 hospital beds, 6 stretchers, a surgical table, 5 examination tables, 15 overbed tables, 12 IV infusion pumps, 4 wheelchairs, an autoclave, a mobile aspirator, a blood bank refrigerator and a large variety of valuable medical-surgical supplies.

July 11, 2019, 12’ Box Truck, Pakistan.   Sonny Afrees, an expatriate of Pakistan coordinated this 12’ box truck shipment which will be consolidated with other donations for further shipment to Pakistan.  This truckload consisted of two phacoemulsifiers, an assortment of endoscopic equipment, a case of various steel surgical instruments and some 20 cartons of assorted medical-surgical supplies

June 4, 2019, container# GLDU 0679340, seal# 0720076, Sierra Leone, Africa. The Healey International Relief Foundation of Cherry Hill, NJ is very active in Freetown Sierra Leone where they have developed community medicine projects, and supported the rebuilding of the Seruba Hospital complex. We developed this container to match their needs list. Large quantities of office furnishings (desks, file cabinets, secretarial chairs, bookcases, computer accessories, etc.), stretchers, examination tables, hospital linen and other valuable medical-surgical equipment/supplies were supplied by Mission Relief Services.  The Foundation also provided three pallets each of prenatal multivitamins and bed linen to include in this shipment.  Local priests and nuns help manage the project in Freetown, and the recipients are receiving the finest care.  This is the fifth project that we have shipped for the Healey International Relief Foundation.
